Listed below are some examples of our recent work, including scenic design for a global summit, event production in a remote location, and show direction and talent management for a VIP business meeting. In the fall of 2023, Yellow Moon Production (YMP) was approached by a long-term client, IAPP, for assistance with content creation and scenic design for their semi-annual event in spring 2024. Our team was tasked with taking an existing marketing campaign centered around the client’s artist-in-residence’s designs and using them to create a scenic design with little-to-no budget. The goal was to enhance the established branding shown on the main stage of the event’s General Session.
After multiple meetings with the client, YMP created and refined a concept of including scenic structures on stage. Once the plan was approved, YMP’s CEO and team created five custom LED towers using the marketing campaign’s artwork. Additionally, they created custom backgrounds and images to be displayed on both the LED towers and multiple large-format LED walls hanging above the main stage.
The final result was compelling visuals consistent with the original art. The client was completely satisfied and 6,000+ attendees were wowed. The secret to YMP’s success was two-fold: our mastery of the technology involved in stage design and our company’s unique ability to understand and communicate a client’s message in creative, meaningful ways.
BCI, Inc., a client of Yellow Moon Productions’ leadership team for over 24 years, asked YMP to produce an event for spring 2024 in a very remote location, which posed a number oflogistical and executional challenges. While the client had realistic budgets to produce the show, the access to the proper equipment, qualified technicians, viable transportation, and housing created logistical and budgetary challenges.
YMP’s leadership immediately put their heads together and developed a strategic approach and solution to support the client in four specific areas: General Session Keynote space that required flexibility; varied nightly receptions in different locations across the 4-mile-long, 1-mile-wide island venue; small and demanding breakout sessions; and an award’s dinner event with the challenge of a very limited access time.
YMP’s Executive Producer managed the challenge of accessing the correct equipment required for the multiple venues while YMP’s CEO found and hired the qualified technicians required for multiple day/multiple venues. In addition, the CEO addressed challenges associated with crew housing, transportation and logistics. In the end, the client was extremely satisfied with the Yellow Moon “touch” and ability to handle event challenges with professional finesse.
Our client, ITP Live, requested Yellow Moon Productions’ expertise in show-direction, talent management and stage management for a high-level VIP business meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event, while small in scope, was huge in importance. Managing multiple vendors with numerous staff members posed challenges with organization, flow of information and communication.
YMP’s leadership team split the project’s responsibilities: the Event Producer focused on script-writing and show direction, while the CEO took care of the VIP talent management area and stage management. Thanks to decades of experience, finalizing and executing the event over the span of three short days was not only possible, but a complete success.
